I've led design for complex healthcare and enterprise systems at Slope.io, Omnicell, UnitedHealth Group, Lenovo, and IBM.
Growing up traveling across multiple countries shaped how I understand people — their cultures, languages, and the mental models that drive their decisions. That same curiosity became the cornerstone of my design career.
After earning my MFA in Graphic Design, I started with non-profits — building multilingual identity systems for Habitat for Humanity and the Jimmy Carter Work Project — while teaching design at the university level. At Lenovo, I led usability for the Out-of-Box experience across ThinkSystems. At Optum, I led design for patient and provider experiences: decision at point of care, ACO care management, and clinical decision support systems where translating complex clinical workflows into intuitive, actionable experiences was critical to improving outcomes.
At Omnicell I defined the multi-product vision for medication management across the autonomous pharmacy ecosystem. Today I'm a founding design leader at Slope — shaping the product architecture and experience for a biospecimen platform that connects physical clinical processes with digital systems.
My approach centers on reducing cognitive load, increasing clarity, and designing systems that support better decision-making in high-stakes environments. I partner closely with Product, Engineering, and clinical stakeholders to ensure design is a core driver of strategy — not just a layer on top.
I live in Cary, North Carolina with my partner and two teenage kids. If your team is wrestling with a complex system and looking for clarity, let's talk.
